Ouray, CO Off-Road Adventure
Ouray, CO Off-Road Adventure
Prodigal Overland is heading back to Colorado
to explore the trails in the ‘American Alps’ around Ouray!
Join us on this multiple JEEP Badge of Honor pursuit!
This 3-day event will begin Wednesday evening with a campfire meet & greet. Thursday & Friday we will be hitting the trails. Please note that the majority of the trails in the area are mountain passes that involve high altitude and narrow ledge roads. We will choose specific trails based off of the group’s experience and preferences, however beginner’s are welcome on this event.
There are a limited number of spots available to allow for a personal experience. We will be camping at Ouray KOA Holiday, which has tent sites as well as RV sites and cabins. Due to this event being organized a little late in the game and it being a very popular area, camping spots are extremely limited at this location. There are hotels in the area and other campgrounds nearby, as well as many boondocking/dispersed camping options in the area. (See below for a list of other options). Reservations at the campground (or whatever lodgings you choose) are your responsibility and the cost is not included in the price of the event.
The base cost for the Prodigal Overland Campout is $400 for the first adult (primary driver), $200 for each additional adult attendee. Children 15 and under are free. These fees do not include the fees for camping. Camping cost varies according to amenities chosen. This campground does have a bathhouse with showers and toilets. To see all the details go to their website. Please make sure to book your camping reservations ASAP to ensure availability. All reservations can be made here.
